We continue to monitor road conditions which are improving. If there are any changes overnight requiring adjustments to the school schedule, we will notify you by 6 a.m.
As a reminder, our regular 1-hour late arrival schedule is as follows:

Meridian High School (MHS) starts at 8:55 a.m.

Meridian Middle School (MMS) starts at 9:05 a.m.

Gratitude
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our maintenance and transportation staff. Our maintenance team has worked tirelessly this week to clear parking lots and walkways, prioritizing the safety of our students and staff. Transportation staff have been driving the roads in the early morning hours to gauge the conditions across our district, and our bus drivers have been outstanding in handling these challenging conditions.
Finally, a big thank you to our families for their patience, understanding and flexibility this week.
Snow Make-Up Days
Regarding making up for our two missed school days, we will be taking a revised calendar to the school board on Feb. 19 for a first review. This calendar will turn the March 21 snow day into a regular school day, and extend the school year to June 12. This will also push graduation back to June 5. These calendar adjustments are tentative pending school board approval. Once the changes have been approved, we will share a new calendar with families.
