Greetings Meridian Students and Families,
This is just a brief note of thanks and appreciation for a great beginning to the school year! We are so pleased to have been able to start with in-person, full schedules, and look forward to building on this strong beginning. We have ironed out the dismissal and will be getting faster. (Many apologies for Thursday.) Our conferences are going strong. It is great to have the time to visit with families early on. We have had smiling students, teachers, and staff members. The excitement of being together is fantastic!
We hope you are able to join us for the tailgate at MHS tonight – and the football game – as we take on the Burlington-Edison Tigers tonight at home. The tailgate starts at 6:30 and runs to 7:45. The football game starts at 8:00 pm. Our other Fall sports are also underway: girls soccer, volleyball, cross country, and cheerleading. The competition begins Saturday (girls soccer) and next week for our other Fall sports. You can see their schedules as they are added at https://meridiantrojans.com/.
Finally, we hope you are able to enjoy the Labor Day weekend with your families. If you are traveling please travel safely. All schools and offices are closed on Monday for the holiday weekend. We are excited to see all our students again Tuesday morning.
