Dear MP3 Families,
The winter weather has definitely arrived! I have two important messages I’d like to share with you regarding inclement weather:
- Please send your child to school prepared for the weather. We will go outside for recess so a coat, gloves, hats and appropriate footwear would be great. We do factor in the wind chill so during inclement weather we will have inside recess but our goal is for kids to get fresh air and being dress appropriately is helpful.
- Stay up to date with school delays or closures by setting up your alert at http://www.flashalert.net/signup.html. Please make sure you are checking information for Meridian School District rather than your resident district. We want all of our families traveling to MP3 campus to be safe. If the Meridian School District has a late start anytime this winter, then MP3 campus classes will be canceled and at-home learning will take place. We care too much about our families’ safety and since many students travel from other districts, we want everyone to be safe!
