Spring State Assessments

Spring state assessments have begun for students in grades 3 – 8 and 10. English language arts (ELA) and math are measured with Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA). Science is measured with the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS) in grades 5, 8 and 11.

Most students will take the assessments online using their district-issued device. Please remind your child to bring their charged Chromebook to school each day. Help your child do their best on state assessments by making sure they get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. Your school will communicate with you about the testing schedule at your school.
