Last Day of School for 2023-24 School Year
Yesterday evening, the school board approved the revised 2023-24 school year calendar. The last day of school is now Monday, June 17 and is an early dismissal day. Meridian High School graduation is Monday, June 10.
The last day of school was moved to June 17 because of the three days of missed school in January due to snow.
School Year Calendars for 2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-27
The school board approved school year calendars for the next three years. These calendars were developed with input and discussion from the Calendar Committee and family feedback. These calendars include the first and last days of school, breaks and holidays. We are continuing to discuss the timing of school conferences and will release a calendar with these times confirmed before the end of the school year.
Some changes you’ll see include moving two of the staff learning days (waiver days) earlier in the school year. The final staff learning day is in March. A snow day has also been added to the calendar in March. You can learn more about the Calendar Committee process by visiting our website.
