Dear families,
We had a number of requests for your feedback last month and we are very thankful for your responses.
We will be sharing the results of the budget survey next week. We received over 100 responses and appreciate the time you took to provide your thoughts. This survey was shared with a budget update message on Feb. 13.
For high school families and students, we asked you to share feedback about interest in a possible skills center in Whatcom County. We are in the early stages of advocating for a skills center in Whatcom County and your participation in the survey helps us move the process forward. We have more information about the proposed skills center on our website.
We are still seeking responses for our school improvement survey. This annual survey helps us better understand areas we need to focus on in order to provide the best quality education for your students. This survey will also serve as baseline data for us as we continue to work toward meeting our goals outlined in Our Commitments, our new strategic plan. The survey asks how you feel about several topics including school communication, expectations for learning and engaging with teachers and administrators.
For those of you who already completed the survey, thank you! We can only make improvements if we know what areas need it. If you have not yet completed the survey, please take 10 minutes to respond by Friday, March 10. We will share results from the school improvement survey later in March.
