Spring Smarter Balanced Test Scores Available Now
Scores for students who completed Smarter Balanced assessments in spring 2022 are now available through Skyward Family Access.
Washington uses the Smarter Balanced tests to measure English language arts (ELA) and math proficiency in grades three through eight and ten. These tests and score results meet state and federal requirements.
Families can access scores by logging in to Skyward Family Access, then clicking Portfolio on the bottom left of their screen, from there look for 2022 Spring SBA Scores. Families can also follow these instructions.
State tests provide a snapshot of how your student performed during testing. They are not indicators of classroom performance. A combination of classroom performance and state test score results provide a picture of your student’s skills and knowledge. If you have concerns about your student’s testing performance, please talk with your student’s teacher(s).
We pay close attention to state test score results. These results provide additional information about students to help improve instruction and guide students’ learning needs. The following links have information for families about state testing and learning standards.
If you would like to request a paper copy of your student’s test scores, please complete this online form.
