Dear MMS Families,
We hope that this message finds you having had the opportunity to spend some quality time with loved ones yesterday, and with additional chances to rest and relax over the coming days. We also want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your partnership in your child’s education. Your support and involvement make a significant impact on our school community, creating an environment where students can thrive and excel. Whether it’s attending parent-teacher conferences, volunteering at events, or simply encouraging your child at home, we value the collaborative spirit that exists between home and school, and are grateful for the positive influence it has on our students’ growth and success. Thank you for being an essential part of our school family!
As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

Dear Middle School Families,
As we approach the holiday season, we wanted to take a moment to connect with you and share some thoughts on the joys and struggles that may come at this time of year. The holidays can be filled with warmth, gratitude, and special moments, but it can also bring its own set of challenges. Here’s a brief reflection on both aspects:
Finding Joy: This season is a wonderful time to reflect on the things we are grateful for. Encourage your child to take a moment to express gratitude for friends, family, and the positive aspects of their lives. Whether it’s a small note or a heartfelt conversation, expressing gratitude can foster a sense of connection and happiness.
Navigating Struggles: While the holidays can be joyful, they can also be a challenging time for some. It’s important to acknowledge that not everyone experiences the season in the same way. Some students may face challenges, such as family stress or changes, which can impact their emotional well-being. If your child is going through a tough time, please know that our counseling team is here to offer support.
Coping Strategies: As families, it’s helpful to discuss coping strategies for handling stress or difficult emotions. Encourage open communication within your family, and let your child know that it’s okay to seek support when needed. Whether it’s talking to a friend, a teacher, or a counselor, having a support system can make a significant difference.
Balancing Expectations: The upcoming season often comes with expectations, whether they be academic, social, or personal. Remind your child that it’s okay not to be perfect and that the most important thing is to focus on what brings them joy. Encourage them to set realistic goals and prioritize self-care.
As we enter the holidays, let’s support one another and create a positive and inclusive environment for all. If you have any concerns or if your child needs additional support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our counseling team.
Wishing you and your family a joyful and peaceful holiday!
Warm regards,
MMS Counselors |

Fundraiser Product Pickup
If your student participated in selling items in our fundraiser, those items are on their way to our school. Ordered items can be picked up from the MMS Cafeteria between 3pm and 6pm on Monday, November 27. It is critical that any orders containing frozen items be picked up that day as we do not have freezer space to keep them frozen overnight. Please let us know if you have any questions! We’ll see you on the 27th! |
