We are excited to invite you to Thriving Futures! Connecting our Commitments, our monthly engagement series with Superintendent Dr. James Everett at 5 p.m. on Nov. 2 in the library at Meridian Middle School.
Dr. Everett will be joined by Meridian Middle School Principal Todd Torgeson and Assistant Principal Robert Kratzig. They will share exciting school and district updates, and also provide an opportunity for questions. These monthly meetings are open to the public and light refreshments are provided.
Online Safety Presentation by Homeland Security 6:30 p.m.
We also invite you to join us at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 in the gym at Meridian Middle School for an online safety presentation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office.
This presentation is intended for parents and teens, and provides information on potential dangers for children in online environments and how to keep them safe. Teens 13+ are welcome to attend with their families. The presentation is not intended for children under 13, but will provide families with tools for talking to all children about online safety. We look forward to seeing you there!
