Trojan family,
Next week marks the final five days of school for 2024. While the semester extends into late January, this break represents a significant transition point in the year.
If you haven’t done so recently, now is a great time to check Skyward to review student grades. Teachers will be reaching out to families regarding students at risk of not passing, but if you notice any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly. Reaching out to the teacher is a good first step, and you can always involve the appropriate counselor (Ms. McBride for A-J or Mr. McMains for K-Z) or administrator (Mr. Kratzig for 9th and 10th grade or Mr. Doffing for 11th and 12th grade).
We also recognize that the upcoming break can bring a mix of emotions as students transition away from school. While some may look forward to the time off, others may miss their routine, friends, and connections with staff. If you or your student need support during this transition, please reach out—we are here to help.
One additional plug – after a slight delay, the MMS/MHS Drama Club is ready to announce a spring production of Alice in Wonderland! The informational meeting will be held next Wednesday at 7pm in the MHS Auditorium. This is a chance for parents and students to come meet our new drama advisor and learn about this year’s process.
As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Go Trojans!
Mr. Doffing, Principal
Mr. Kratzig, Assistant Principal
