Trojan family,
We again want to thank our community, our staff, our students, and local law enforcement for their work to keep our school safe during yesterday’s lockdown event. You should have received several pieces of communication from us yesterday with more details. You can also reread those communications on our website.
As we look ahead, next week marks the start of winter sports practices for basketball, wrestling, boys swim and dive, and winter cheerleading. If your student is interested, please ensure they’re enrolled on Final Forms as soon as possible so they’re ready to participate.
Beyond sports, MHS offers a wide variety of clubs to meet students’ interests, including Acceptance Club, Multicultural Club, Global Connections Club, Chess Club, Dungeons & Dragons Club, Video Club, and Trojan Cafe. While some clubs meet during T3, others gather after school, and the Activity Bus provides a 5:00 p.m. ride home each day for those who need it.
Participating in clubs, activities, and sports is more than just fun; it helps students build connections, develop new skills, and foster a sense of belonging. We encourage every student to get involved in something that sparks their interest and makes them feel part of our school community!
As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Go Trojans!
Mr. Doffing, Principal
Mr. Kratzig, Assistant Principal
