Last week on April 24th, we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day, an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the dedicated individuals who keep our school running smoothly behind the scenes. Today, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our exceptional administrative team at Meridian High School.

We want to recognize the invaluable contributions of:

  • Kelly Gookstetter, our Head Secretary
  • Tami McMains, our Attendance Secretary
  • Lori Blankenship, our Registrar
  • Dori Lukes, our Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Gina Heslep, our Athletic Secretary
These individuals are the backbone of our school, handling a myriad of responsibilities with efficiency, grace, and a smile. Their hard work and commitment ensure that our students and staff receive the support they need every day.

Please join me in expressing gratitude to Kelly, Tami, Lori, Dori, and Gina for their outstanding efforts and dedication to Meridian High School. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated administrative team!

Thank you for all that you do!

-Derek Forbes and Shaun Doffing

The 1977 release of “Star Wars” changed Hollywood forever. Four decades later we’re still enthralled. Just last December, “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker”, was released in theaters. Following the previous two movies of the sequel trilogy, “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi”, the main Star Wars film franchise has come to a conclusion. So — Happy Star Wars Day this May 4!
