Request Transcripts Through Parchment
Meridian High School has partnered with parchment.com to fulfill transcript requests for current students and MHS alumni. Transcripts are securely sent electronically to colleges and universities across the nation, resulting in a reduction of lost documents at the financial aid offices. The service is free of charge to current students. Alumni pay a small fee. Please make sure that your intended college accepts electronic transcripts.
Please find the “Order Transcripts ” link under Families & Students on the MHS website. Current students may contact Mrs. Blankenship or Mrs. Waterman to receive their Parchment access code at the MHS office 360-398-8111 or email lblankenship@meridian.wednet.edu.
Winter Weather Information
As the season changes and the weather turns colder, it is a good time to take a moment to review our winter weather procedures. Depending on conditions (which could include snow, flooding, power outages, etc.), schools could close for the day, open two hours late with regular bus routes or snow bus routes or open on time with snow bus routes. Please familiarize yourself with the information below to be prepared for changes in the school schedule.
How will I be notified of school closures or delays?
A message will automatically come to you if you are a parent/guardian or staff member. You can update your contact information in Skyward Family Access or by calling your school office. Alerts are sent through ParentSquare. ParentSquare uses your contact information from Skyward. You do not need to activate your account in ParentSquare to receive alerts.
Where can I find weather or emergency information?
- Meridian School District uses a variety of methods to keep you informed:
- An email, text, app notification and/or phone call will automatically be sent to you via ParentSquare.
- Tune to local media: 790 AM, 96.5 FM, 104.1 FM or Seattle media.
- Check MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from “email-link.parentsquare.com” claiming to be www.meridian.wednet.edu
- Check @meridianschooldistrict505 on Facebook or Instagram
The district will continue to use FlashAlert Newswire to notify local TV and radio media of school closures or delays.
What are snow routes?
A snow bus route (or snow route) is a modified route that is used when road conditions are impacted by weather and driving a school bus in some areas may not be advised. Transportation will make individual arrangements for students who receive specialized transportation which do not follow the snow routes.
If snow routes are in effect, students must catch their bus at the alternate stops below:
Route 1: Van Wyck Road, Guide Meridian side: Meet at Ryzex Way, on W. Horton Rd.
Route 4: E. Horton Road: Meet at Ryzex Way, on W. Horton Rd.
Route 9: Zander Road: Meet at E. Smith Rd.
Where can I find more information?
Visit our Weather Notifications webpage for more information about inclement weather and delays.

National Clean Your Desk Day, January 8th
National Clean Your Desk Day is all about preparing your workspace for the new year and beginning things on the right note. The holiday falls on the second Monday in January. This year, it’s January 8th. Remember, a messy desk is an invitation to chaos! A clean desk, on the other hand, helps you focus, be more productive, and generally makes you feel good about your workspace. And when we say clean we don’t just mean physical clutter. That’s correct, your computer desktop counts too. Drag those files into a nice, neat folder!
