There are several changes during the last week of school in December to accommodate our special programs taking place on Thursday and Friday.
Please look at the attached bell schedule for the class schedule each day.
The adjusted schedule allows for MHS staff and students to participate in two events at the end of the week.
- On Thursday, students will be participating in nearly 20 different community service activities that support in our building, in our elementary school, in our local community and reaching to all around the world. Students will sign up to participate in one activity on that day. Leading up to that day, students and staff are collecting donations and preparing material for the big event. Students will sign up on Friday morning. Running Start students (who don’t have a first period class) will sign up when they check into school on Friday.
- On Friday, MHS will celebrate with its Winter Wishes assembly. After the assembly, students receive their gifts (that were anonymously wished for by their peers and staff) during their lunch. It is a great example of students caring for others and is one great example of how students are supported at MHS.
