Scholarship Database – always double-check due dates, as they are known to change. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Waterman.

Other scholarship resources:

Many scholarships and applications require letters of recommendation. Ask teachers, coaches and employers, but don’t wait until the last minute. Filling out an autobiographical sketch helps them know more about you as a whole person.

SAT/ACT Testing

Juniors: Plan to take one or both spring of your junior year. You can re-take in early fall of your senior year if you don’t like your scores.

Seniors: If you plan on going to a 4-year college, you will need one or the other. Take them in early fall so your scores are available when you fill out college applications

You will need your scores to apply to colleges. Registration is all online. College application deadlines are as early as November! Questions? See your counselor.

If you are considering an elite school, please check to see if they require SAT subject tests and plan to take them early.

We recommend taking both as often students will do better on one than the other.

Financial Aid

The FAFSA opens Oct. 1 each year. Fill it out as soon as possible. We will have a FAFSA help night each fall.
