Principal’s Message

IRE Families,

As we close out May this week and June approaches, we have many exciting events that celebrate the close of a school year in the coming weeks. 2nd grade has an amazing field trip and 5th grade has a number of fun items (The Dance, Skateway, etc.). Look out for communication from your child’s teacher related to those events.

Please be sure to mark your calendars for the following dates:

  • Last day of school: On June 17th, we will bid farewell to another academic year and say hello to summer. The last day of school is an early dismissal (1:15 PM)
  • Kinder Graduation (Last Day): On June 14th, we will celebrate our young graduates as they step into their next big adventure!
  • Last Day for TKOur last day for transitional kindergarten will on be on June 14th, the same as Kindergarten.

Let’s make these last few weeks as memorable as possible for our students. Thank you, as always, for all that you do to support our school community.

Best,
Tyler Dockins, Principal

With dedication and the guidance of a schoolwide common writing rubric, they’ve honed their skills, crafted their voices, and are now ready to share their achievements with the world.

📅 Save the Date: June 4th ⏰ Time: 4:30 to 5:30 PM

This is more than just a showcase; it’s a testament to the hard work and progress of our young authors at IRE. From the first letter to the final draft, they’ve poured their hearts into every word. Now, it’s time to shine a spotlight on their creativity and passion for writing.
