Principal’s Message
IRE Families, As the winter season has approached, illnesses start to spread. At IRE the amount of illnesses we have seen have dropped and our attendance numbers have improved. Thank you to everyone who has been diligent in working with our health team to determine the right time to come to school and the right time to stay at home. Being present every day matters for continuity, creating connections and learning.
Additionally, our staff took some time to create some themed gingerbread houses for a competition to raise money for Meridian High School’s Winter Wishes program. Winter Wishes is an annual tradition at the high school that helps to promote a sense of belonging during the winter every year. Many of the gingerbread decorates are themed based upon what students are learning or what students love.
More details below on how to vote for your favorite one! Look at some of the creative work!
