IRE Families,

March is here! This is a tremendous month to build academic momentum. Our attendance rates have gone up (we have an average of 90% attendance across the whole school!). Let’s keep this up. Each day presents a beautiful opportunity to make incremental growth. That consistency is important in the long term.

Not only are we making strides in attendance and academics, we have a huge number of student (over 50!) that participated in the PTA sponsored event with the Missoula Children’s Theater. Thank you to all of the families and community members that made this possible. It was terrific (and hilarious).

We hope you have wonderful weekend, and as always, thank you for checking the lost and found : )

LOST AND FOUND

Our lost and found is consistently increasing.  Due to this issue, all lost and found items will be donated on the last school day of each month.  If your student is missing a jacket, gloves, hat. lunch box, etc. please ask them to stop by our lost and found prior to the last day of the month and see if it’s there.  Parents are also welcome to check the lost and found during school hours.  Make sure to check in at the office in building A before doing so.

Mobile Dental

Unity Care’s Mobile Dentist is coming to the Meridian Family Support Center on Thursday, March 14th. If your child has not seen a dentist in the past 6 months please consider signing them up for this FREE event.
Transportation to the Family Center for Middle and High School students will be provided by the Family Services Coordinator in a district vehicle.
Students who sign up will receive a visual screening by the dentist, a fluoride application, goody bag, and a referral for a follow-up visit if there are any concerns.
Registration forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded, filled out, and emailed back to Alicia Roberts aroberts@meridian.wednet.edu
Please return completed forms to school by March 7th.
