First Day of School, Aug. 29

We are so excited to welcome back students and staff for the school year! Just a quick reminder:

  • The first day of school for grades 1-12 is Thursday, Aug. 29.
  • The first day of kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten (TK) at Irene Reither Elementary is Wednesday, Sept. 4.
  • The first day of campus classes at MP3 is Monday, Sept. 9.

Labor Day Holiday

There is no school on Monday, Sept. 2 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Meridian Family Support Center Open Regular Hours
​
The Meridian Family Support Center is now open 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The family center offers essential services such as school supplies, Operation School Bell sign-ups (for new school clothes), and general resources and information.

School Conferences
​
Irene Reither Elementary School will have school conferences on Aug. 29, and Sept. 3-5. On these days, Irene Reither Elementary will dismiss at 1:15 p.m. Meridian Middle School and Meridian High School will dismiss at their regular time. Friday, Aug. 30 is our first one-hour late arrival day, and is a regular dismissal day for all schools.
​
Meridian Middle School and Meridian High School will have school conferences from Sept. 10-12. On these days Meridian Middle School will dismiss at 12:20 p.m. and Meridian High School will dismiss at 12:10 p.m. Irene Reither Elementary will dismiss at the regular time.

MP3 family conferences are Aug. 29 through Sept. 6.

High school students have access to StudentSquare to get updates from the school and communicate with teachers. An invitation to register for ParentSquare will be sent to families and high school students before the start of the school year.
