A Message from Superintendent Dr. James Everett
Dear families,
Today Meridian High School Principal Derek Forbes shared with his staff that he will be resigning at the end of this school year.
After careful consideration and conversation with his family, Mr. Forbes felt this was the right decision to make for his future and allows time for the district to begin a search process for the next principal. Mr. Forbes shared that he did not come to this decision lightly and that he has greatly enjoyed his time at Meridian High School.
We thank Mr. Forbes for his years of leadership at MHS and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
We will begin working on the principal search process where students, staff and families will be invited to share their input about what leadership qualities they want in their next principal.
