  • A sincere thank you to everyone who came out to Buffalo Wild Wings to support the Meridian Music Boosters yesterday.  There were families, students of MHS, alumni and staff who attended.  Thank you ALL for your support!
  • Prom guests: If you plan on bringing a guest to the prom from outside of Meridian High school, you MUST fill out a guest request form.  The forms are in the front office and are due May 4th. No exceptions.  No outside guest will be accepted at the door without this request.
  • Senior news:
    • Senior slide show - we need your baby pictures!  Please email no more than 2 to  You can turn in a physical copy to Mr. Durkee's room.  Make sure you put it in a ziploc baggie with your name on it so we can get it back to you.  Due date is May 5.
    • Senior trip: If you want to go on the free senior trip the day before graduation, please sign up at Mrs. Heslep's desk.  The destination is Wild Waves!  Deadline is May 1st.
    • Evening of Excellence: If you have received a scholarship, please tell Mrs. Waterman ASAP so you can participate in our senior Evening of Excellence on May 30th.
    • Josten's will be on campus during both lunches on May 4 to deliver caps, gowns, announcements and other grad items. If you are unable to pick up your items on the 4th and have paid in full you can pick up your items from Mrs. Heslep in the office. If your items are not paid for, Josten's will send them to you when they have been paid for.
  • MHS Cheer Garage Sale:  Saturday May 20th 7:30am-1:30pm in the High School Commons. Funds raised help cover the cost of uniforms and camp. There will be something for everyone! Please help us spread the word!
  • Blue Skies for Children’s annual Shoe Give Distribution is underway. If a child is eligible for free or reduced lunch, they are eligible for this program. We are serving up to five children per family.  Each child may receive one brand new pair of athletic shoes and a pair of socks. Please call 360.756.6710 for an appointment.  The child must attend the appointment with the parent – shoes are not given without a child trying them on.  Appointment times are 3:00 to 6:30 pm, Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The program will end May 25th.
  • The Unity Care N.W. mobile dental unit (dental van) will be at IRE to provide fluoride treatments for students previously served this school year.  Also, this is the last chance for a dental exam for students that may have missed the previous dental van services in February or March.  Registration forms need to be completed for students that have not yet been served and would still like to have an exam.  Contact Sheree Johnston, Family Services Coordinator at 318-2486 for more information.

Running Start students are allowed on the MHS campus when they have a MHS class.

 If you have questions about this policy, please see Mr. Jacoby or Mr. Forbes.

ASB fundraiser for the MHS soccer teams: Olive Garden will cater a delicious dinner at MHS at 5:30pm. Tickets are $15 per adult (11 yrs and up) and $10 for children (10 and under).  Get tickets in the MHS office.   Funds will go towards a scoreboard and upgrades to the field.

Get your memory brick to be laid in the Meridian High School Courtyard.  Each brick costs $50.00 and includes 3 Lines of up to 16 characters per line.  

Checks can be made to Meridian Booster Club and mailed to Michele Mack,  1114 Kelly Road, Bellingham, WA   98226.  Please included EXACTLY what you want on your brick and your email address.  I will type up your order and then send it you for final approval.  Our goal is to have your brick in place for the Class of 2017 Graduation on June 16th.

Did you know you can email teachers to get homework assignments if your student is absent? Teacher email address are listed on the MHS website.  You can also contact the Attendance office (398-8111).  

In order to receive that day's homework, the request must be made before 10:00am, and you can pick up the homework after 2:30pm. Be sure to call first to make sure it's there.

Skyward Grading - don't forget to check your students' grades on Skyward.  You can go directly to Skyward Family Access and enter your login and password.  If you have forgotten your information, please contact the office.


Class of 2017 Booster Club

Parents, thank you for sending your email addresses.  Some came without your names, so please resend your address to with your name!  Remember that our list is for class information only, and not for outside solicitations. 


Class of 2018 Booster Club

The class of 2018 Booster Club has "The Great Little Savings Book" coupon books for sale.  They are $10.00 and have tons of local great deals including DQ, Subway, Rocket Donuts, Edaleen Dairy and many more!  If you'd like some to sell, please call Stacey Hodge at  360-305-0726. Individual books will be sold at various sporting events this spring.

Graduation Party payments

Senior year is a very expensive year. To help break up the cost for you we are now accepting partial payments or full payments for the Graduation party that takes place on the night of Graduation.  You will also be helping the Class of 2018 Booster club by doing this now, as the venues will have to be booked and paid in advance. The cost of the Graduation Party is $150 per student.  Please contact Heather Magnusson at 360 421-3295 or if you would like to arrange payment.


Class of 2019 Booster Club


We are now accepting full or partial payments for our Grad Night (the night of graduation).  Cost is $150 per student.  Please contact Leslie Pagnossin at for the mailing address or to arrange payment.

Parents, it would be greatly appreciated if you could email your name and students name to  If you would like to provide your phone number that would be great too! This information will be used for our class information only.
We are currently selling Trojan 12s shirts for $10,and Hot/Cold Bottles for $15. We also have car window decals for your car (or scrapbook).  These come with a "M" for $6 or can be personalized with a uniform number ($7),
last name for $8, and both name and number for $9.  If you child doesn't do a sport, we have an MHS decal as well.

Class of 2020 Booster Club

Before we know it our freshmen will be graduating. It is never too early to prepare for that day. We are now accepting full or partial payments for grad night 2020. Cost is $200 per student. This can be paid in increments of $50 per year starting this year. 


Craft Fair fundraiser:  This will be April 29th at MHS from 9am to 4pm.  Over 50 vendors will be there!

Class of 2020 booster is selling the large Meridian logo umbrellas. We are also working on getting Meridian logo reusable bags to sell. 

There are also opportunities throughout the sports seasons to sign up for concessions to raise money for the class of 2020.
