  • Student Drop Off:  Please pull all the way up in front of the main doors when dropping off your student.  We have had several near-misses in the entrance and back ups on Laurel. Thank you!
  • Senior Class Meeting:  We will meet today during T3 (10:40am) to go over senior presentations, the High School and Beyond Plan, scholarship opportunities, college tour day and more! 
  • BTC Tour Day:  juniors and seniors are invited to go on this field trip to BTC Nov. 14.  Sign ups and permission forms are in the library and are due Friday, Nov. 8 to Mrs. Waterman.
  • Senior photos:  All senior photos for the yearbook are due Jan. 8, 2018.  If you do not submit a photo, your school picture will be used.  Please click HERE for the submission criteria and deadlines.  Questions?  Please contact Mr. Durkee at
  • Seniors:  Please see Mrs. Heslep to let her know how you want your name on your diploma if it differs from Skyward (example -  Jake or Jacob). 
  • All students:  Please inform Mr. Durkee if you'd like a different name in the yearbook than what is listed in Skyward.

Interested in playing boys or girls basketball, participating in boys or girls wresting or gymnastics?  Winter sports start November 13th (gymnastics on the 6th)  Please check with Mrs. Heslep to make sure you have all your paperwork in before the first practice. 

Attention girl gymnasts! If you are interested in joining the first ever Meridian Gymnastics team please come and talk with Mr. Michaelson. We are looking for dedicated and committed individuals who are interested in helping to build a Meridian and Ferndale cooperative gymnastics team. The first day of practice is Monday November 6th and there is athletic paperwork that needs to be filled out. Come see Mr. Michaelson today!

Winter sports are just around the corner.  The first day for Boy's and Girls' Basketball, Boys and Girls Wrestling & Cheer is November 13th.  Please make sure that your parents have gone online and filled out the athletic packet.  Also, make sure you have filled out the Informed Consent forms.  Any questions? Please see Mrs. Heslep.

Weight room for students ONLY:

  • Weight room hours have changed.  It is open Mondays from 6:15-7:15am and 3-4 pm, closed Tuesdays, open Wednesdays from 6:15-7:15am and 3-4 pm and 6:30-8pm.  It is open Thursdays from 3-4, closed Friday and Saturday, and open Sundays 6:30-8pm.

Remember, you must have school district employee supervision to be in the gym or weight room. If there isn't anyone in there, you shouldn't be either.  Please note that use of the weight room is limited to students and not open to community members.  Please direct any questions to Bryant Michaelson, Athletic Director

  • Seniors:  please let Mrs. Heslep know if you'd like a different name in the graduation program that is something other than what is in Skyward. (ex. Jake instead of Jacob)
  • Seniors!  If you plan on a 4-yr college, and haven't taken the SAT and/or the ACT, please register ASAP.  Early deadlines for some college applications are as early as November.
  • Running Start students are allowed on the MHS campus when they have a MHS class.  If you have questions about this policy, please see Mr. Jacoby or Mr. Forbes. Please make sure you sign in and out in the office.













Did you know you can email teachers to get homework assignments if your student is absent? Teacher email address are listed on the MHS website.  You can also contact the Attendance office (398-8111).  

In order to receive that day's homework, the request must be made before 10:00am, and you can pick up the homework after 2:30pm. Be sure to call first to make sure it's there.

Skyward Grading - don't forget to check your students' grades on Skyward.  You can go directly to Skyward Family Access and enter your login and password.  If you have forgotten your information, please contact the office.



Class of 2018 Booster Club

Class of 2019 Booster Club

We are now accepting full or partial payments for our Grad Night (the night of graduation).  Cost is $150 per student.  Please contact Leslie Pagnossin at for the mailing address or to arrange payment.

Parents, it would be greatly appreciated if you could email your name and students name to  If you would like to provide your phone number that would be great too! This information will be used for our class information only.
We are currently selling Trojan 12s shirts for $10,and Hot/Cold Bottles for $15. We also have car window decals for your car (or scrapbook).  These come with a "M" for $6 or can be personalized with a uniform number ($7),
last name for $8, and both name and number for $9.  If you child doesn't do a sport, we have an MHS decal as well.
